Oxyjon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Oxyjon uses sensitive scopes of Google. These include 1.) Add info about your body measurements 2.) Use Google Fit to see and store your physical activity data.

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

  • Application refers to Oxyjon, the software program provided by the Company including (www.oxyjon.com) ("Website") and (Oxyjon - Diabetes app) ("App").

  • Partners include but not limited to hospitals, clinics and diagnostic labs

  • Treatment Provider includes independent Doctors or hospitals who are treating a particular patient.

  • Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.

  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

  • Service refers to the Application, the Website, Diabetes Educator consultations, Doctor consultations and Medicine delivery.

  • Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Necessary Processing of Personal Data

If you consent during the creation of an account, we will process your User Data listed below in order to be able to provide our services. If you do not consent to this necessary processing, you cannot use the services of Oxyjon. You may provide your consents during the registration process and manage them in the account settings.


In order to protect your User Data, our services can only be used in connection with a user account. To create a user account we require, collect and process the following User Data:

  • Email address

  • First name and last name

  • Phone number

  • Age

  • Gender

  • Device ID, manufacturer, device type, operating system version of your mobile device, Authentication Token

  • Country, time zone

  • IP address

When you install and use our app, we also collect information on the device you are using and generate crash and bug reports if required. This is necessary for us to troubleshoot and determine the circumstances of a potential problem. We record key data of your device and your usage behavior as our contractual fulfilment, as well as to customize our products. This includes processing individual user information, such as your location for instance to configure the user interface. An automated analysis of your user behavior is performed exclusively for the purpose of customizing your use when fulfilling the contract and has no legal effect for you.


We also process your Phone number and IP address to assess from which country or region you are using our services and to provide you with the features and information which is relevant in your country. Your IP address is also used to determine the data storage location for your account.

Optional Processing of Personal Data

Any other User Data which is collected and processed while you use our services is optionally provided by you when using certain functions of our applications. Those optional User Data and their collection purposes are:

This optional data is collected and processed to be able to address and contact you in a suitable way and to process order, delivery, support and billing of our products, including products of our Partners. It includes

Medical Data

This optional data is collected and processed in order to be able to deliver the service which is offered by Oxyjon. It includes:

  • Diabetes Type

  • Body Height

  • Body Weight

  • Physical Activity Level

  • Medication

  • Diabetes Type

  • Food Intake / Meal / Ingredients

  • Blood Pressure

  • HbA1c

  • Ketones

  • Values imported from 3rd Party Apps

  • Conditions, Symptoms, Allergies, Treatment, Procedures

  • Family history

  • Prescriptions, Test Reports

The scope of the personal data processed by Oxyjon depends on your registration and the use of our products. We only process User Data that you actively and voluntarily provide to Oxyjon. The entry of requested User Data is however a requirement for the comprehensive use of our products. If you do not enter optional data the associated functionality of our products is limited accordingly.

You can optionally activate synchronization between our apps and Health Apps, such as those by Apple or Google, and other connected services, which enables data to be exchanged between our apps and those Health Apps. This synchronisation only takes place if you activate this in the settings of our apps and configure the data that is being exchanged.

Commercial and Usage Data

Commercial and Usage Data This optional data is collected and processed in order to store and retain necessary financial information in case you make a purchase, as well as to improve our app experience for you. It includes:

  • App Store Download Information

  • Purchases

  • Payment Status

  • Payment Method (Credit Card, Bank Account etc.)

  • Oxyjon Plan Status

  • Activity Events for Customization

  • Support Queries

Automatic Collected Usage Data
  • We may automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices) you use to access the Services, and about your use of the Services, even if you use the Services without registering or logging in.

  • Usage information: Details of your use of our Services, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through our Services.

  • Computer and device information: Information about your computer, Internet connection and mobile device, including your IP address, operating systems, platforms, browser type, other browsing information (connection, speed, connection type etc.), unique device identifiers, other diagnostic data device type, device’s unique device identifier, mobile network information and the device’s telephone number.

  • Last URL visited: The URL of the last web page you visited before visiting our websites.

  • Pages on Site and App accessed: Various pages on the App or Site that the user accesses.

  • Your activity on the Services: Information about your activity on the Services, such as your search queries, search results selected, number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, how long you visited our Services, the date and time you used the Services, error logs, and other similar information.

How your data is used

The Company may use User Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.

We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact You for the purpose of alerts, promotions, notifications response from the Oxyjon support team. Examples include requesting a third party service like Firebase, Branch or Moengage.

  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.

  • With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture

  • With Service Providers: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.

  • With Partners: We may share Your information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions. Some of this User data like name, phone number, address, email address, Date of Birth, Gender could be used to reasonably identify a User. Some of the information could be shared with your Treatment provider in case you choose to get treated by that Treatment provider. This includes Conditions, Symptoms, Allergies, Emergency contact details, Non-medical intervention, Diet, Physical activity, Family history, Treatment, Procedure, Prescriptions, Test reports and other Uploaded documents.

  • With Tax and Law agencies: We may share or disclose a Member's data where required by law or to comply with legal process.

The Members data cannot be indexed or stored by Internet search engines (e.g. Google).

Other risks and considerations

  • Users should know that Oxyjon takes commercially reasonable technical precautions to help keep User data secure. There is still a risk of data breach due to technical issues of Oxyjon or third party. However, by using the Platform, the users accept the inherent security implications of data transmission over the internet and the world wide web which cannot always be guaranteed as completely secure, and therefore, there would always remain certain inherent risks regarding use of the Platform.

While our goal is to help patients improve health outcomes, there are no certain benefits to using Oxyjon. However, keeping track of personal well-being, treatments, and symptoms has been shown to be helpful in improving overall health.

There are also no known risks to using Oxyjon, but there is a possibility that users may feel uncomfortable sharing information online. It is possible that a User could be identified using information shared on Oxyjon (and/or in conjunction with other data sources). A User could be discriminated against or experience repercussions as a result of the information shared. For example, it is possible that employers, insurance companies, or others may discriminate based on health information..

If you are reading this Privacy Policy because you have access to the Personal Information of an Oxyjon User, we urge you to recognize and fulfill your responsibility to protect the privacy of that person.

In using Oxyjon, Users are free to skip any non-required questions or data fields that make them feel uncomfortable. Users are also free to stop using this service at any time. If a User chooses to deactivate his/her account, Oxyjon will not use the data in that account as of the date of deactivation. However, the User’s data will remain in the system for auditing, legal, tax or regulatory purposes, and any research conducted prior to the deactivation of a User’s account will still include the User’s data.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
